Synopsis
Once upon a time, in the south east of Asia, there is a little boy called Shui who lives with his family on the banks of a river. He is told not to go near the river as he cannot swim, but one day he strays too close the bank and slips into the rushing water. Shui’s only chance is to call upon the ancient Water Giants to save him, but are the stories of the Water Giants true and can they really rescue him from the river and return him home?

This musical was written because the biggest cause of death for children in South East Asia is drowning. It is about how vital learning and knowing how to swim is in parts of the world. A performance of Shui & The Water Giants, directed by Brooke was also featured in the London newspaper, Ham & High.
