Licencing
All schools and educational establishments are required to have a performance licence to perform our musicals publicly - this includes performances shown to anyone other than pupils or staff. This applies even if you are not charging entry to the show. Your school PRS licence does not cover our musicals, you will need our specific licence to perform these.
Our performance licence allows your establishment to use our script and original music for as many performances and live streams as you like, within one year (12 months). Our 12 month performance licence is included with each purchase of one of our musicals. Once this has expired you will need to purchase another performance licence to perform the musical again.
Our performance licence allows you to:
Make 10 copies of the script for learning purposes.
Project the script onto a whiteboard for learning purposes.
Reproduce lyrics in your programmes or project them onto a white board for learning purposes. If you use our lyrics in the live performance, we are always grateful if you could credit us: ‘Lyrics reproduced by kind permission of Little Supernovas’.
If you are filming the performance, including if it is to be distributed by DVD, you will need to purchase our filming licence as well as the performance licence. This licence allows you to film and record the performance, but do not allow you upload the performance to a platform such as Facebook or Youtube and also your school’s website. If you are only filming and not performing it live to parents due to Covid-19 you will only require a Filming Licence.

All music, scripts and lyrics are copyrighted to Little Supernovas Ltd. You are not permitted to distribute any of our material outside of your establishment and Little Supernovas reserves the right to take legal action should this occur.

Digital Downloads
We provide our material to you as digital downloads. You have 24hrs from when you open the script or licence to download it. The music tracks are sent via WeTransfer and you are given seven days to download the music, after which time it will be deleted. It is important that you download everything within the given time.
